BOLOGNA

Being Bologna my hometown, there are so many things I would love to say about Bologna and I would like to
suggest you to visit. I had organized for my husband’s family a tour of the city with Bologna Tour Guide,
and everyone was in love with the guide, so I highly suggest the association.
There is so much to say about the city, whose Porticos entered the UNESCO heritage list in 2022, but
here are some of the tours I highly suggest :
1) Piazza Maggiore – via d’Azeglio – via Farini – via Garibaldi (San Domenico) – via
Castiglione – Giardini Margherita – via Santo Stefano – Strada del Pavaglione
2) Le Due Torri – via Castiglione – via Santo Stefano – Piazza Santo Stefano – Corte Isolani
(look for the 3 arrows!!) – Strada Maggiore – Piazza Aldrovandi
3) University and Via Indipendenza (via Piella for the Windows!)
4) Il Quadrilatero (the open market)
5) Via Ugo Bassi – Piazza Malpighi – via Nosadella – via Saragozza – via Urbana – via
Collegio di Spagna – via Barberia – via Cesare Battisti – via IV Novembre
6) The Ebrew Quarter
7) San Luca. It is one of the most renowed symbols of Bologna, and you can reach it in 3
possible ways: walking trhoughout via Saragozza and then up from l’Arco del Meloncello (3.5
km), taking the bus 20 until l’Arco del Meloncello and then walking, or riding the San Luca
Express
(I rented it for my husband’s family and they loved it)
8) Cimitero Monumentale della Certosa
I could go on and on about the description of the town, but you can ho ahead and download the guide I created for my wonderful city!
